I’m a Chicagoland native happily residing in Grand Rapids, Michigan. I still call Illinois home, but I couldn’t help falling in love with Michigan’s charm. I love Latin America, black coffee, the Enneagram, travel, my houseplants, spicy foods, and the Chicago Bulls. When I was 15, my grandmother gave me her old 35mm Minolta and I started experimenting with light on film. About five years later, I bought a digital camera and photographed my first wedding. Since then, I graduated with my bachelor’s degree in Spanish, spent a year teaching preschool in Honduras, then moved to Michigan to play music in a band. I now photograph weddings year-round and around the world. I feel privileged to travel extensively, play music, and photograph people in exotic and every day environments. I am especially fond of documenting couples in love. I see the world for all its beauty, goodness, and whimsy and I am passionate about preserving a narrative in a way that will delight people until they are old and grey.
